Abstract:
To enhance an attraction effect for attracting insects and efficiently capture insects.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 comprises: a refrigerant circuit 4 which circulates a coolant on a compressor 12 by switching a cycle between, a cooling cycle for causing a heat exchanger 11 to function as an evaporator, and a warming cycle for causing the heat exchanger 11 to function as a condenser; a casing 40 comprising, a suction hole 42a for sucking air in a room, and an air outlet 42b for blowing air into the room, the casing storing the heat exchanger 11; a fan 21 for sucking air from the suction hole 42a into the casing 40, causing the air to pass through the heat exchanger 11 and blowing the air from the air outlet 42b; an attraction unit 36 for attracting insects to the casing 40; an insect capturing unit 37 for capturing the attracted insects; and a controller. The controller drives the compressor 12 in a state of stopping the compressor 12 or switching the cycle to the warming cycle, after operation in the cooling cycle, and in the above mentioned state, can execute insect capturing operation for driving the fan 21 and the attraction unit 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
