Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner capable of more surely preventing an undesired operation of a voltage doubler circuit.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 10 includes an indoor fan motor 120 of a rated voltage 280 V, a DC power source circuit 130, and an indoor-side control portion 140 at an indoor unit 100 side, and includes an applied voltage detection circuit 150 and an outdoor-side control portion 160 at an outdoor unit 110 side. The outdoor-side control portion 160 determines whether the power source applied to the air conditioner 10 is AC100 V or AC200 V on the basis of an output of the applied voltage detection circuit 150, and transmits a result of the determination to the indoor-side control portion 140 by serial communication. The indoor-side control portion 140 operates a double voltage circuit in the DC power source circuit 130 when the applied power source is AC100 V, and makes the double voltage circuit in the DC power source circuit 130 inoperative when the applied voltage is AC200 V.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
