Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner preventing reduction in an oil amount of a compressor to prevent failure of the compressor when switching a defrosting operation to a heating operation.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a compressor 11; an outdoor heat exchanger 15; an expansion valve 16; an indoor heat exchanger 21; a four-way valve 14 exchanging refrigerant discharged from the compressor 11 to the outdoor heat exchanger 15 or the indoor heat exchanger 21; a bypass piping 30 connecting the discharge side and the suction side of the compressor 11; a bypass valve 31 mounted on the bypass piping 30; and a control device 40 controlling the compressor 11, the expansion valve 16 the four-way valve 14 and the bypass valve 31. The control device 40 performs control by a first step where the bypass valve 31 is open and the expansion valve 16 is in a minimum open rate when moved to a heating operation after the defrosting operation is completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
