Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner capable of estimating an amount of leaked refrigerant in a case where refrigerant leakage occurs in a refrigerant circuit.SOLUTION: An outdoor machine controller 200 is configured to, when any one heat exchanger of an outdoor heat exchanger 23 and an indoor heat exchanger 51 functions as a condenser, calculate a refrigerant density of refrigerant flowing through the heat exchanger on the basis of the temperature and pressure of the refrigerant on an outlet side of the heat exchanger when it functions as a condenser; and define an amount of refrigerant on a refrigerant pipe side as an amount of leaked refrigerant calculated based on the calculated refrigerant density and the volume of a refrigerant pipe on the side from one shutoff valve 110 to an indoor expansion valve 52 that does not include the indoor heat exchanger 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
