Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recycle the power energy required, by continuing electrolysis treatment, in the alkaline water electrolyzer and the alkaline fuel battery, gaseous hydrogen and gaseous oxygen used as the raw material for the electric power, water in an amount equivalent to raw material water eliminated by the electrolysis treatment, and the electrolytic solution in a water treatment system, and to remarkably reduce service power and to remarkably reduce the power to be used.SOLUTION: Provided is an a water treatment system utilizing an alkaline water electrolyzer and an alkaline fuel battery. In the water treatment system, an alkaline water electrolyzer and an alkaline fuel battery are connected, the volume of raw material water is reduced, further, gaseous oxygen and gaseous hydrogen generated from the alkaline water electrolyzer are fed to the alkaline fuel battery, power generation is caused with the alkaline fuel battery utilizing the gaseous oxygen and the gaseous hydrogen, electric energy and water are recovered, and the recovered electric energy is fed to the alkaline water electrolyzer as the power source thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
