Abstract:
To provide an aluminum secondary battery which is hard to cause the corrosion of a collector and the like, which has a cycle life of practical level, and which is advantageous in terms of cost.SOLUTION: An aluminum secondary battery comprises a negative electrode containing aluminum and/or aluminum alloy, a positive electrode collector provided to be opposite to the negative electrode, a positive electrode active material disposed on the positive electrode collector, and a separator disposed between the negative electrode and the positive electrode collector, and an electrolyte solution. In the aluminum secondary battery, the positive electrode collector is made of a material selected from a nickel-based alloy, nickel, molybdenum, glass like carbon, titanium nitride, titanium carbonitride and titanium carbide. The aluminum secondary battery further comprises an exterior material. The negative electrode, the positive electrode active material, the positive electrode collector, the separator, and the electrolyte solution are contained in the exterior material. The exterior material has an ethylene vinyl alcohol resin layer and/or a polyacrylonitrile resin layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
