Abstract:

To provide an amorphous multiple oxide fine particle and a meas for manufacturing the same.

The multiple oxide fine particle is made by melting and combining 2 kinds of metal oxide fine particles at least one of which is a ferromagnetic oxide by sintering and is amorphous. The method for manufacturing the multiple oxide fine particle includes a firing process for mixing 2 kinds of the metal oxide fine particles at least one of which is the ferromagnetic oxide in a high temperature gas phase medium and firing to produce a multiple oxide fine particle formed by melting and combining both fine particles and a quick cooling process for applying a magnetic field to the gas phase medium passed through the firing process to separate the multiple oxide fine particle from the gas phase medium and introducing the multiple oxide fine particle into a cooling line to produce the amorphous multiple oxide fine particle by quick cooling. An apparatus for carrying out the method is provided.
