Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an estimation error of a NOx generation amount at a switching of an opening of an EGR valve.SOLUTION: In a NOx amount generation estimation device of an internal combustion engine having an EGR valve, the NOx generation amount estimation device calculates an intake air O2 concentration NOx generation contribution ratio and an in-cylinder circulation NOx generation amount contribution ratio at the switching of the EGR valve, calculates an EGR-presence NOx generation amount logic weight coefficient, and an EGR-absence NOx generation amount estimation logic weight coefficient, calculates an EGR-presence weighing NOx generation amount being a product of a NOx generation amount which is estimated by an EGR-presence NOx generation amount estimation logic 2a on the basis of the intake air O2 concentration, and the EGR-presence NOx generation amount logic weight coefficient, calculates an EGR-absence weighing NOx generation amount being a product of a NOx generation amount which is estimated by an EGR-absence NOx generation amount logic 2b on the basis of in-cylinder circulation, and the EGR-absence NOx generation amount estimation logic weight coefficient, and uses the sum of the EGR-presence weighing NOx generation amount and the EGR-absence weighing NOx generation amount as the estimated NOx generation amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
