PURPOSE: To provide an air bag light in weight, soft in touching and excellent in its stored characteristic while maintaining a mechanical characteristic and air shielding characteristic by providing elastomer resin in the knot parts of air bag woven cloth.
CONSTITUTION: Elastomer resin 4 is provided in the knot parts being a space part where warp 1 and weft 2 cross, by 5 to 20mg/m2 per unit area. Silicone elastomer is used as the elastomer resin 4 and flame retardant compound is included in the resin 4, or retardant compound is included in the thread 1, 2 constituting a woven cloth while at least one kind of compound selected from halogen compound, platinum compound, cupper oxide, titanium oxide and carbon is used as the flame retardant compound. Since the elastomer resin exists in the knot part the feeling of touch is made soft with its light weightness so that shock at the time of swelling of air bag to a human body is made smaller.
