Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadband and high gain antenna for manhole cover in which the shape of the antenna is made as small as possible, and yet excellent transmission reception sensitivity is ensured even if it is installed on a manhole cover.SOLUTION: On one substrate surface 12A of a substrate 12, a first coupling pattern 14 separated by a gap 13, and a pair of antenna elements connected with the opposite sides of the first coupling pattern 14 thus separated are formed, and on the other substrate surface 12B of a substrate 12, a second coupling pattern 18, separated by other gap 17, is formed, in a substrate type dipole antenna. Both antenna elements are multiplex spiral antenna elements 15, 16 formed spirally to surround the gap 13 of the first coupling pattern 14. On the other substrate surface 12B of a substrate 12, a solid pattern 20 is formed at a position facing one spiral antenna element 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
