Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device and a printing device capable of applying coating material onto a desired part of a coating object according to a reverse method.SOLUTION: A coating device 1 includes: a carrying cylinder 10 for carrying form paper P at a speed V0; a print cylinder 20 which is brought into contact with the form paper P over a width D while rotating at a circumferential speed V1 in the direction reverse to the carrying direction of the form paper P and applies varnish onto a part of the form paper P; and a varnish supply unit 30 for supplying varnish to a printing area part of the print cylinder 20. A coordinate set on the form paper along the carrying direction is made to be y-coordinate. A coordinate set on the print cylinder along the rotation direction is made to be s-coordinate. When varnish is applied on a region of a position of y=Y2 from a position y=Y1 on the form paper, in the print cylinder 20, a region from a position s=(V1/V0)Y1-(1+V1/V0)D to a position s=(V1/V0)Y2 is set as the printing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
