Abstract:
To provide aqueous dispersions capable of expressing black color with a high coloring power, without clogging even in a pen-type eyeliner, with excellent dispersion stability, without risk of containing nanomaterials of 100nm or less, and without worrying health hazards to humans, to provide methods for producing the same and to provide cosmetics containing the aqueous dispersions.SOLUTION: Provided is an aqueous dispersion containing: water; at least 22 to 40 mass% of a black pigment; a dispersant, which is a polymer of 6.4:1 to 7.12:1 in a mass% ratio to the black pigment or a surfactant with an HLB of 10 or more; and a polyhydric alcohol with a mass% ratio of 2.14:1 to 2.0:1 with respect to the black pigment, the black pigment being at least one or more charcoal powder selected from bincho-charcoal, bamboo-charcoal, plum-charcoal, or activated carbon, or the charcoal powder and black iron oxide, and having an average particle size of 340 to 392 nm and a lightness L value of less than 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
