Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance measuring force, by constituting a strain generator main body of an input side flange, a fixed side flange and four connection beams each having a narrow part formed to the intermediate part thereof and adhering strain gauges to the connection beams to detect the force acting on one arbitrary point and moment of rotation through a bridge circuit. CONSTITUTION:Narrow parts 7-10 are formed to the intermediate parts of square pole like beams 3-6 elastically connecting a fixed side flange 1 and an input side flange 2 to constitute a strain generator main body 11. Next, the component forces in the X-, Y- and Z-axis directions of the main body 11 are respectively set to FX, FY, FZ and moments of rotation are respectively set to MX, MY, MZ and strain gauges 12 are respectively adhered to four surfaces of the narrow parts 7-10 of the beams 3-6 and respectively connected to a bridge circuit to exclude the mutual interference of the component forces FX, FY, MZ, FZ, MX, MY of an object to be detected to perform detection with high sensitivity and high accuracy. Further, since the narrow parts 7-10 are provided at the positions where bending stress becomes zero, the component forces FZ, MX, MY in the Z-axis direction can be detected with high sensitivity.
