Abstract:

To provide an element arraying method capable of surely, efficiently and accurately arraying elements on a substrate by self-alignment, a method for manufacturing a display device by arraying elements by self-alignment and the display device.

Since engaging parts to be engaged with the bottom parts of respective elements are formed on array positions for arraying the elements on the substrate or magnetic films are formed on the bottom parts or side faces of the engaging parts or the n-side electrodes of respective elements, the elements are surely, efficiently and accurately arrayed on the engaging parts of the substrate by applying physical external force such as vibration to the substrate after scattering the elements to the surface of the substrate and the positional deviations of respective elements can be evaded.
