Title:
An arsenic ion recovery method using meso-porous alumina and it which supported an arsenic ion adsorbent compound, and a manufacturing method of arsenic free solution
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP5950326
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for reducing As ion concentrations in water to the degree of ultratrace amounts.SOLUTION: Ammonium molybdate is loaded on mesoporous alumina by mixing alumina obtained after applying a surfactant to mesoporous alumina in an aqueous solution containing ammonium molybdate. Mesoporous alumina loaded with an arsenic ion-adsorbing compound such as ammonium molybdate can selectively adsorb and remove trace amounts of arsenic ions in water with room temperature treatment without water quality adjustments such as pH adjustment. Because no special pre-treatment is performed, extra after-treatments also are not necessary, and because heating devices or the like also are not used, a low cost arsenic removal system can be constructed. Configuring the arsenic treatment device in multiple steps allows arsenic ion-free aqueous solutions to be obtained rapidly and in large volumes.
