PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed constant velocity universal joint and an assembling method of the fixed constant velocity universal joint capable of preventing falling of balls before being mounted on a mounted portion, and suppressing increase of a weight and cost-up.SOLUTION: A fixed constant velocity universal joint includes a cap portion having a plurality of track grooves formed on an inner diameter face, an outer joint member having a hollow shaft portion axially extended from a bottom portion of the cap portion, an inner joint member having a plurality of track grooves on an outer diameter face and connected with one end of a shaft in an inner diameter hole, a plurality of torque transmission balls disposed on a ball track formed by the paired track grooves of the outer joint member and track grooves of the inner joint member, and a cage disposed between the inner diameter face of the outer joint member and the outer diameter face of the inner joint member, and retaining the torque transmission balls. A stopper inserted to the shaft portion of the outer joint member and kept into contact with the shaft to restrict a maximum operation angle by a time of being mounted on a mounted portion from a shaft mounting state after assembling the balls, is disposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
