Abstract:
PURPOSE: To finally produce a color filter excellent in flatness and having a defectless and stable pattern by correcting a color filter having a small number of defective picture elements by a convenient method.
CONSTITUTION: The defect is corrected as follows. Namely, red, green, blie and black matrix picture elements are formed on a substrate, a colored photosensitive transfer material having a colored photosensitive resin layer of the same color as the omissive picture element is firmly attached to the region including the omission part of any of the picture elements, the region is exposed through the substrate, and the uncured part of the colored photosensitive resin layer is removed.
