To provide an automatic type breast bone compression cardiac massage machine whose overall strength and strength of engaging parts are high though its wall thickness is small, and which includes a back plate that gives comfort to a patient.SOLUTION: An automatic type breast bone compression cardiac massage machine according to the present disclosure includes: an arch part disposed in a right and left direction above the breast of a patient; a vertical rod for supporting both sides of the arch part so as to move in a vertical direction of the arch part; a plate-shaped back plate having an engaging part for causing the vertical rod to be removably engaged; an impact hammer projecting downward from the top surface part of the arch part, which includes an impact hammer rod and an impact head pad fixed to the impact hammer rod; a lifting mechanism for vertically reciprocating the impact hammer; and a control part for controlling the lifting mechanism. The back plate is made of synthetic resin, and the bottom of the back plate has a concave part recessed except a marginal part of the bottom. The engaging part is disposed at marginal parts on right and left sides of the top surface of the back plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
