Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baffle plate which can make oil surely circulate even at traveling on a slope.SOLUTION: A baffle plate 16 has a bottom plate part 17 and a sidewall part 18, and the bottom plate part 17 is mildly inclined toward a side opposite to the sidewall part 18. Also, the other side end 23 at a side opposite to the sidewall part 18 out of the bottom plate part 17 is a free end at which oil naturally flows down to an oil pan. A gutter-shaped oil flow passage 27 reaching the other end side 23 is formed at the bottom plate part 17. An inclination angle of the oil flow passage 27 is much more larger than an inclination angle of the bottom plate part 17 (for example, 13 to 30°). The baffle plate 16 is attached to the oil pan 9 of a vehicle-mounted internal combustion engine so that the oil flow passage 27 is oriented frontward. Since the oil flows down to the oil pan 9 from the oil flow passage 27 even if a vehicle is inclined due to slope traveling, the oil can be surely circulated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
