Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent disorder of a classifying line by installing an article detector, a memorizing means to memorize the length of the articles, an article's continuity determining means to determine whether the articles move in a row or not, and a classifying apparatus driving circuit to make the classifying apparatus classify the articles transported in a row.
CONSTITUTION: A multi-types of articles classifying apparatus is so composed as to determine whether an article A is good or not while the article A is transported based on the previously set information for each of a plurality of types of articles A and to sort unqualified articles by a sorting apparatus 4. The apparatus is provided with an article detector 2 installed in a transporting line of the articles A, a memorizing means to memorize the value corresponding to the length L of each article A to the transporting direction for each article A, and an article's continuity determining means to determine whether the articles A are transported in a row or not based on the time detected by the article detector 2 during the transportation of the articles A and the value corresponding to the length. Based on the determination results, a classifying apparatus driving circuit makes the sorting apparatus 4 sort the articles A transported in a row.
