Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress generation of wear at a shaft surface on a side of an eccentric mass of a balancer shaft, in relation to a balancer shaft for an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A balancer shaft for an internal combustion engine includes: a journal part 34 held by a rotation shaft bearing 36 for an internal combustion engine; and an eccentric mass 14 having weight in an eccentric direction relative to a rotation center 38 of the journal part 34. The journal part 34 has a circular arc on a side of the eccentric mass 14, which is flattened more than the other side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
