Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancer device of an internal combustion engine which can make a torsion largest part of a tooth groove of a balancer gear and a drive gear engaged with each other at the largest deceleration of a crankshaft when bolt-fastening the balancer gear to a balance shaft by loosely inserting it thereto.SOLUTION: A balancer device 50 is constituted so that a torsion largest part of a tooth groove of a balancer gear 120 is engaged with a drive gear 30 at the largest deceleration of a crankshaft. The balancer gear 120 and a first balance shaft 100 are bolt-fastened to each other in a loosely-inserted state. A groove 125 for positioning the first balance shaft 100 in a peripheral direction is formed at the balancer gear 120. An arrangement direction of the groove 125 viewed from an axial core of the balancer gear 120 and a direction of the torsion largest part of the tooth groove viewed from the axial core of the balancer gear 120 intersect with each other in the peripheral direction of the balancer gear 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
