PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate the problem of displacement of the astigmatism axis angle of a lens in a wearing state of a spectacle frame.SOLUTION: A ball type shape determination device which determines a ball type shape used for processing the circumference of a spectacle lens with a spectacle lens processor comprises: rim shape acquisition means for acquiring three-dimensional shape data of at least one of the left rim and the right rim of a spectacle frame based on a spectacle wearing state; and ball type shape determination means which projects the rim three-dimensional shape data and a horizontal axis in a spectacle wearing state to a plane vertical to a ball type reference axis set to obtain processing ball type shape with respect to the rim three-dimensional shape data based on a spectacle wearing state, determines the horizontal axis projected to this plane as the reference direction of a lens astigmatism axis, and determines a two-dimensional shape obtained by projecting the rim three-dimensional shape data to a plane as a processing ball type shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
