Abstract:
To provide a band slitter which enables multiple types of divisions and can equally divide a tape in an easy manner and beautifully and safely cut a tape straight.SOLUTION: A band slitter 1 includes: a lower unit 2 on which a band-like tape is slidably placed and which has a substantially rectangular shape in a plan view; a rectangular upper unit 4 which is swingably disposed on the lower unit 2 to be combined with the lower unit 2 and has substantially the same size as the lower unit 2 in the plan view; four pull springs 6a to 6d which draw the upper unit 4 onto the lower unit 2; and a first spare blade 10a and two second spare blades, making a pair, 10b and 10c attached to the upper unit 4. The lower unit 2 has a bottom plate 20 on which the band-like tape is slidably placed along a length direction Y. The upper unit 4 has a top plate 40 which prevents looseness of the band-like tape. The first spare blade 10a is disposed at the side of a third end 46 of the upper unit 4, and the second spare blades 10b and 10c are disposed at the side of a fourth end 48 of the upper unit 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
