Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier coating composition for laminates which has excellent gas barrier properties, lamination suitability and boiling suitability, and a barrier composite film for laminates which includes a barrier layer obtained from the composition as an intermediate layer.SOLUTION: The barrier coating composition for laminates contains a carbonyl group-modified polyvinyl alcohol as a component (A), a hydrolysate of an alkoxysilane as a component (B), and a solvent as a component (C) and satisfies the following expression 1: WA/WB=25/75-55/45 (where WA represents the content (mass) of the component (A) in the barrier coating composition for laminates, and WB represents the content (mass) of the component (B) in the barrier coating composition for laminates).SELECTED DRAWING: None
