PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery box for a cart in which a battery attached to a battery box body part can be easily replaced, and a cart.SOLUTION: A battery box 100d for a cart includes a battery box body part 1 removably attached to a cart body part, a chargeable battery 2 removably attached to the battery box body part 1, battery attaching parts 3 provided to a right side face 12 and a left side face 13 of the battery box body part 1 respectively for removably attaching the battery 1, a power conversion part 5 provided inside the battery box body part 1 for converting DC power from the battery 1 to AC power of a predetermined voltage corresponding to a voltage of commercial power supply, and a first outlet 61 and a second outlet 62 provided on the top face 10 of the battery box body part 1 to which a power plug for supplying the AC power to an apparatus disposed in the cart body part 100c can be connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
