Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery heating device of a vehicle which properly selects a position for placing a battery in the vehicle in which the battery needs to be heated.SOLUTION: A battery heating device of a vehicle 1 includes: an engine 3; a battery 5; an exhaust passage 31 for exhausting an exhaust gas of the engine 3; a supply passage 51 which supplies air to the battery 5; and a heat exchanger 7 which directly or indirectly supplies heat of the exhaust gas in the exhaust passage 31 to air. The battery 5 is heated by the air that has passed through the heat exchanger 7. The heat exchanger 7 is placed at the downstream side of a catalyst part 39 which cleans up the exhaust gas of the engine 3.
