Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel capable of preventing generation of impression on a rolling surface, thereby preventing generation of foreign sound caused by the impression, and degradation of a bearing life.SOLUTION: In a bearing device 1 for a wheel including an outer member 2, an inner member 3, and rolling elements 6 of double rows, the outer member 2 is a structure provided with an outer annular member 22 having hardness and rigidity higher than those of the outer member 2 composed of carbon steel, on its inner periphery, and an outer rolling surface 2c is formed on an inner periphery of the outer annular member 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
