Title:
A bearing device for wheels
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6239315
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for wheel which easily determines whether a constant velocity universal joint is drawn into a regular position with respect to bearing for wheel, with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A bearing device for wheel includes a bearing 6 for wheel composed of an outer ring 5, a hub ring 1, an inner ring 2 and double rows of rolling bodies 3, 4, a stem part 29 of an outside joint member 23 of a constant velocity universal joint 7 is fit to a shaft hole 33 of the hub ring 1, thereby, the constant velocity universal joint 7 is connected to the bearing 6 for wheel so as to make torque transmission possible. Therein, a plurality of convex parts 32 extended in a shaft direction of the stem part 29 of the outside joint member 23 are formed, a plurality of concave parts 35 having an interference with respect to the convex parts 32 are formed on the shaft hole 33 of the hub ring 1, the stem part 29 is drawn into the hub ring 1 with a screw fastening structure, thereby, the convex parts 32 of the stem part 29 are forced into the concave parts 35 of the shaft hole 33 of the hub ring 1, a shape of the convex parts 32 is transferred to the concave parts 35, thereby, a concave/convex fitting part M in which adhesion is performed in the whole region of contact portion is formed and a determining means 41 which can observe a drawing-in amount of the stem part 29 with respect to the hub ring 1 by visual sight is provided.
