Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polyester film for a power storage element electrode which improves workability of a conductive thin film formed on both sides of the film by a method such as vacuum deposition and improves power storage element electrode characteristics while using a polyester film as a substrate.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a biaxially oriented polyester film for a power storage element electrode of which the film thickness is 0.2 μm or more and 30 μm or less and which is characterized in that 1) a static friction coefficient μs which is measured while overlapping one side and the opposite side of the film is 0.3 or more and 0.9 or less and 2) surface roughness of the one side and the opposite side of the film satisfies relations of inequalities (1) 1.2≤Ra/Ra≤5.0 and (2) 1.5≤Rz/Rz≤15.0 (where, Raand Rzrepresent centerline average roughness and cross-point average roughness of arbitrary one side, and Raand Rzrepresent centerline average roughness and cross-point average roughness of the opposite side, respectively).
