To prevent jam of bills at a junction part between a conveyance path of a conveying apparatus and a bill storage wherein a box of the bill storage is not separated from the conveyance path of the conveying apparatus and stacked bills can be protrusively drawn forward while the box is kept as it is when conveying bills from a front bill insertion part to the rear and arranging the bill storage on a return path conveying the bills to the bill insertion part through a rear rotation ring by driving an endless belt stretched over the rotation ring arranged at both sides of the bill insertion part and the rear part.
The bill storage part arranged in the return path is provided with a drawing member for drawing stacked bills forward from the bill storage part for horizontally stacking the bills with its longer side erected vertically, wherein the front part of the stacked bills can be projected forward from the bills storage part by moving the drawing member forward.
