Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a binding process on a sheet bundle comprising a plurality of kinds of sheets having a different number of sheets, even in a case where a plurality of pressurizing member pairs are not prepared.SOLUTION: A binding process device includes a plurality of protruding parts 91 arrayed side by side, and a pressurizing member pair 81 which makes the plurality of protruding parts 91 press against a sheet bundle, so as to pressurize the sheet bundle. A pitch P of the protruding part 91 is 1.2-1.5 mm, and a height H of the protruding part 91 is 0.55-0.75 mm. Further, a load per a unit area which acts on the sheet bundle from each pressurizing member when respective pressurizing members constituting a pressurizing member pair pressurizes the sheet bundle is 42-94 N/mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
