Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding process device that can perform a binding process at one binding position and at a position where it is more difficult to be unbound than the one binding position, and a recording-medium processing system including the same.SOLUTION: The binding process device includes an advancing member and binding process means. The advancing member advances toward any one of corners 46 of a sheet bundle B having multiple edges 41-44 and having the corners 46 at intersection positions where the edges intersect. The binding process means performs a binding process on the recording-medium bundle B by causing the advancing member to advance toward the corner 46, and can perform the binding process at a first binding position 8A and at a second binding position 8B located closer to a first intersection position 55 than the first binding position 8A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
