Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure a binding force which is relatively uniform for a number of binding sheets and sufficient to hold the binding force when binding by press-fit binding.SOLUTION: A pair of binding teeth 223 in which a sheet bundle 206 is pressurized and press-fit for binding includes binding regions of at least two kinds with a different tooth height H (first-fourth binding regions A-D), and a binding part 224 which a press-fit part G contacts when the binding teeth 223 is press-fit at each binding region. The tooth height H of the plurality of kinds of binding regions (first-fourth binding regions A-D) is set according to the number of binding sheets of the sheet bundle 206 which is to be bound or a type of sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
