Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade member that can suppress the occurrence of vibration or weakening due to an environmental change (temperature change) that is to be a cause of a reduction in cleaning property.SOLUTION: In a cleaning blade 5 with a laminated structure provided with an edge layer 6 to be in contact with a surface of a photoreceptor and a backup layer 7, the value X of conversion tanδ defined by the following formula 1 is 0.23 or more and 0.51 or less in an environment in a range from 0°C to 50°C. X: conversion tanδ, A: thickness of edge layer 6 [mm], B: thickness of backup layer 7 [mm], L: amount of change in tanδ in edge layer 6 (difference between maximum value and minimum value from 0°C to 50°C), and L: amount of change in tanδ in backup layer 7 (difference between maximum value and minimum value from 0°C to 50°C).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
