Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the obstruction of a blast furnace tuyere, and automatically remove the obstruction of the tuyere when the obstruction of the tuyere is generated.SOLUTION: A blast furnace tuyere obstruction removing method includes: imaging a heat-radiation luminance image at a tuyere with an imaging device provided in the tuyere; measuring a flow quantity of hot wind supplied from the tuyere to the inside of a blast furnace; creating a binarized image obtained by binarizing the heat-radiation luminance image on the basis of a prescribed threshold value related to a luminance value; specifying in the binarized image, a bright part corresponding to a part having a luminance value equal to or more than a prescribed threshold value in the heat-radiation luminance image, and a dark part corresponding to a part having a luminance value less than a prescribed threshold value; calculating an area ratio of the bright part in the binarized image; determining whether the obstruction of the tuyere is generated or not, on the basis of at least the area ratio of the bright part and the flow quantity of hot wind; and stopping supply of powdered coal to the tuyere when determining that the obstruction of the tuyere is generated, and starting supply of purge gas for removing an obstruction state to the tuyere.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
