PURPOSE: To find the charge for video software by projecting the charging data sent from a CATV center on a television receiver

CONSTITUTION: The charging data sent by a cable 1 are demodulated by a demodulation section 14. When the display of the charging data is directed by an input section 13, the charging data of the demodulation section is stored in a storage section 12 and the stored data are transformed to character patterns by a character generator 7. A complex video signal generation section 3 generates a complex video signal which is displayed on a television receiver 6 through a video switching section 4. When the toll program channel is selected and received from the input section, the charging data of corresponding TV programs from the charging data of the storage section are stored in a memory section 16. On the other hand, when the prescribed date comes, the telephone line is connected by dialing the CATV center from the input section and the data of the total payment of the memory section are modulated by a reading MODEM section 16 and sent to the CATV center through a network control section 9.
