Abstract:
To address such a problem that, although the conventional bone anchor is not harmful for a living body, it cannot promote healing of the bone other than fixation of the bone, and to provide a bone anchor capable of promoting the healing of the bone compared with the conventional bone anchor.SOLUTION: A bone anchor 1 is characterized in that a nano-periodic structure comprising nanoscale recessed/projecting structures (belt-like recesses S1 and belt-like projections S2) with periodicity, is formed at least at a portion corresponding to a cortical bone or a cancellous bone of the bone supposed to be fixed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
