PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book jacket capable of making a portion of a non-transparent book jacket transparent when necessary.SOLUTION: A book jacket, in which a perforation (2) is provided transversely on a portion of a packaging medium (1) usable as the book jacket or the like, and the portion is covered with a packaging medium (2) made of a transparent material or a semi-transparent material, and adhered at a section other than a cut-off portion of the packaging medium (1) to enable the packaging medium (2) to be exposed by cutting away the perforation (2), is fitted on a book for use.
