Abstract:
To provide a bookmark for a book having a protruding portion in a string part from a bottom edge of the book in a bookmark string, which does not require the bookmark string to be adhered and fixed during bookbinding, and which is capable of flexibly corresponding to books of different dimensions.SOLUTION: The bookmark for the book includes a strip-shaped bookmark body part and the bookmark string. The bookmark string has a length exceeding a space between a top and a bottom of the book. The bookmark body part has two or more slits formed on one side of a long side part in the body part. By inserting and fitting the bookmark string into one slit in the bookmark body part, and inserting and fitting the bookmark string in the other slit, the length of the bookmark string can be adjusted. The bookmark is composed such that an edge of the string protrudes on both sides of the top and the bottom in books of different sizes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
