Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise a boron concentration in a boron-containing eluent eluted from an adsorbent and efficiently remove boron from boron-containing water without condensing the eluent and recover boron in a form of boric acid crystal.SOLUTION: In a container 21 in an absorption column 20, an adsorbent material is manufactured by introducing a glucamine group for adsorbing boron as a functional group to a nonwoven fabric of a polymer material is formed to a band shape and then is wound up to a cylinder. Furthermore, at least one adsorbent module 26 provided with a route changing means for changing a dipping route is inserted in a container 21 so that a shaft center of the adsorbent module 26 may be coaxial with a shaft center of the container to constitute an adsorption column 20. When regenerating, the adsorption column can flow out the eluent containing a high-concentration boric acid reaching the solubility of a boric acid. In a boron removing system, when boron adsorbed in the adsorption column 20 is eluted from the adsorbent module 26, the flowing-out eluent containing the high-concentration boric acid is fractionated and boron is recovered as a boric acid crystal by a cooling crystallization method, and then the eluent is further reutilized.
