Abstract:
To provide a brace structure suppressed in manufacturing cost increase, and resistible against compressive force, while shortening an interval between fulcrums of the braces of the compression side.SOLUTION: A brace structure 1 has four braces 20 arranged in an X-shape along a pair of diagonal lines L1, L1 of a rectangular frame 10, and a connection member for pin-jointing the braces at an intersection part of the braces 20. One end part of the brace 20 is jointed to a connection member 30, and the other end part is jointed to a fitting plate 13 provided at the corner part of a rectangular frame 10. A joint center of the brace 20 with the connection member 30 and a brace joint center of the brace 20 with the fitting plate 13 are arranged on the diagonal line L1, and the tensile strength of the connection member 30 and the fitting plate 13 is equal to the tensile strength of the brace 20 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
