Abstract:
To reduce weight of a brake device.SOLUTION: A brake device 1 includes an outer ring 11, brake shoes 20, an output-side rotational member 30, movable pieces (first roller 81), and a first spring 86. Each of the brake shoes 20 includes a first projection part 25A and a second projection part 25B. The pair of movable pieces are provided between the first projection part 25A and the second projection part 25B. An input-side rotational member 40 includes a first engagement part 42A provided between the pair of movable pieces and the first projection part 25A, and a second engagement part 42B provided between the pair of movable pieces and the second projection part 25B so as to correspond to respective brake shoes 20. When the input-side rotational member 40 rotates in a first rotation direction, the second engagement part 42B presses the second projection part 25B to rotate the brake shoes 20 in the first rotation direction. When the input-side rotational member 40 rotates in a second rotation direction, the first engagement part 42A presses the first projection part 25A to rotate the brake shoes 20 in the second rotation direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
