Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a piston of a fluid-pressure cylinder to be returned to an initial position even if the piston cannot be returned by a returning spring.SOLUTION: The brake fluid-pressure control device comprises: an inlet valve 13 provided in a first fluid-pressure path led from a master cylinder to a wheel brake; an outlet valve 14 provided in a second fluid-pressure path led from the wheel brake to the master cylinder; a pump 17, provided in the second fluid-pressure path, which pressure-feeds brake fluid toward the master cylinder; a motor 18 for driving the pump 17; and a control portion 100 for controlling the inlet valve 13, the outlet valve 14 and the motor 18. The control portion 100 has a returning control portion 150 that executes returning control by which the motor 18 is driven to retreat the piston, when the piston of the master cylinder is at an advance position to which the piston of the master cylinder advances from an initial position and the piston cannot be retreated by actuating the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
