Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary trip due to an in-rush current without increasing a rating current of a circuit breaker.SOLUTION: A circuit breaker 1 comprises: a circuit breaking part 11 that breaks a current flowing in a circuit; and a control part 10 that breaks the circuit breaking part 11 by an electronic type control. The control part 10 comprises: an initialization processing part 181 that initializes breaking characteristics of the circuit breaker 1 so as to become the breaking characteristics in accordance with characteristics of a predetermined transformer; a current detection part 13 that detects the current flowing in the circuit; and a first braking control part 182 that breaks the current flowing in the circuit by the circuit breaking part 11 in the case where the current detection part 13 detects the current larger than a predetermined first threshold value after the lapse of a predetermined first period from an input of a power to the circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
