Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breather chamber structure of an internal combustion engine which enables a breather chamber to be compactly disposed and increases the flexibility of the component layout according to the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 3 has a crank case 30, includes a cylinder body 32 located on the crank case, and has a breather chamber 7 which separates an oil from oil mist in the crank case. In a breather chamber structure of the internal combustion engine 3, the breather chamber 7 is formed including: a crank case side breather chamber 71 which is provided in the crank case and opens on a joint surface 42 between the crank case and the cylinder body; and a cylinder side breather chamber 42 which opens on the joint surface and is provided in the cylinder body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
