Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block reflected sunlight from below or reflection of direct sunlight coming from the surface of sea water or of the ground without blocking the front field of vision to shield the eyes of a wearer from the glare of reflected sunlight.SOLUTION: A visor 10 to be worn under the eyes of a wearer M includes a planar visor 11 and a mounting strap 12 that holds the visor 11 in a state of protruding frontward from between the eyes and the cheeks or from the cheeks of the wearer M. The mounting strap 12 preferably includes a contact band 13 vertically attached to the base end of the visor 11 to contact the face of the wearer M and a size adjusting band 14 with its ends attached to either end part of the contact band 13 respectively to form a ring therewith. The size adjusting band 14 further preferably is a stretchable/shrinkable elastic body. The visor 11 preferably is formed to have a mountain shape with the center part in the width direction thereof made to rise upward.
