Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a wear resistant free graphite precipitated ferrous sintering material excellent in seizuring resistance.
CONSTITUTION: This free graphite precipitated ferrous sintering material has a compsn. contg., by weight, 0. 4 to 1% C, 0.02 to 0.5% S, 0.01 to 0.5% B and 0.5 to 4% Cu, furthermore contg., at need, 0.05 to 0.6% P, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and has a structure in which fine free graphite is precipitated in the matrix of ferrite.
