Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber for retractable electric wire which can alleviate inconvenience when a tensile force is generated between a utility pole and a house, a building or the like.SOLUTION: A shock absorber 1 includes: a first connecting portion 2 engaged with a hole portion of an insulator; a second connecting portion 4 engaged with a building side fixed to the ground or a pole base side; and an intermediate portion 3 connecting the first connecting portion 2 and the second connecting portion 4. The first connecting portion 2, the second connecting portion 4, and the intermediate portion 3 are formed by bending a single wire. When an external force is applied in a direction in which the first connecting portion 2 and the second connecting portion 4 are separated, either one of the first connecting portion 2, the second connecting portion 4, and the intermediate portion 3 extends, thereby buffering the external force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
