Abstract:
To provide a building board with vintage-like appearance obtained by consolidating a woody laminate (conifer plywood and the like) made by laminating unit constituent boards having fallen knots.SOLUTION: A building board 10 is obtained by consolidating 9-ply conifer plywood 12 including second veneer 11b having a fallen knot 14. In consolidating, portions 11a' and 11c' of first veneer 11a and third veneer 11c, respectively, which are adjacent on top and bottom surfaces of the second veneer, enter into the fallen knot 14, forming a blank pattern 15 corresponding to the fallen knot on the top surface of the first veneer 11a. The first veneer and the third veneer are hardly compressed at the portion of the blank pattern 15 so that the surface has low density and thin color, while they are compressed in other portions so that their surfaces become a dark color portion 16, thus, shading difference is expressed and a vintage taste is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
